what to visit in singapore - Best Place to Travel

hi everyone! i think it is just fair, that i introduce myself first. what is my brand, what is the difference of my brand to all the vloggers you're watching. before i officially released all my videos.

what to visit in singapore

what to visit in singapore, it will be a job interview format i'll make this, as if i am applying as a vlogger. hi everyone! i am rafa-el lopez. you can call me rafroads, because that's my brand.

this is me, a very basic guy. i'm always wearing snapback. i (meant) wear this. this one or this one. (meant) sometimes, this way. i'm the basic guy you know. i'm always wearing t-shirt. it is usually black.

(meant) sometimes gray. anything on that shade. as much as possible, i'm wearing shorts. now with high socks. it came from the word "rough road". metaphorically speaking, i though of rafroads, because, usually in our travels; we experience a lot of humps. wrong decisions, that became my inspiration. since my first official travel was in south korea.

you know what to do. there, i realized that i did a lot of mistakes so...why not help people? why not experience it... and since i had a great time why would i let you compromise yours? i will help you. hey avoid this, don't do that! that's the point of rafroads. i think my strength is...since i realized that "we only live once" its deeper meaning. its real core, its real meaning.

i get scared less. it is my strength because i started taking risks. of course, i'm still limited with the idea of me being safe all the time. that i should always do the right thing. since i realized that we really only live once in this world. why not make it count? why don't we face our fears? why don't we make "what ifs" happen? so, since the time i live with that realization

i started taking risk. i've never been happier. my weekness maybe... i already have this pre-judgement about places. say for example, subic (zambales, philippines) i already have this judgement about beaches. i hate the beach. but then i realized that life underwater is great. it feels incredibly amazing seeing the school of fish. i remember the time we visit boracay and we went for helmet diving, i can say that it is one of the best times of my life.

as much as possible the places i want to visit are less-touristy-places. yes, places that tourists wants to visit because that's the point of all this, to help my co-travelers. what we want is something challenging. something that will teach us something new. so it will be new. so there's a room for surprise. in this context, why you should watch me. everyone is vlogging already.

there's a lot of similar brands. they will go to places and they will suggest what to do and not what to do. that's my brand as well. i will tell you what to do and not do to. but at the same time, i'm gonna tell you to enjoy the moment. not just document things. what is the purpose of documenting. why do you have to do that? also, when you travel...i have this segment called...

budget travel hacks tips on how to take great photos/quality photos. quick tip on how to edit. and also, tip on how to curate your instagram. how to make everything visually entertaining. i believe in "quality v.s quantity" so i'm the vlogger that doesn't have definite schedule in posting. i only post when i visit places. so you can tell, that i did not just travel to post something.

basically, my difference is... i always tell this to the hiring managers i am a multimedia artist so, i edit photos, i edit videos. anything that has to do with editing. sure! everyone can do that! and maybe, they are way, way better! but what makes me different is that i am very, very passionate. i started editing, 2008.

i was in high school then. that is how facinated i am to the field. i did not stop every since. atleast you feel the genuine side of traveling. less bs. i don't know what will happen in the future, if sponsored or (meant) anything. but then again, i will stay the same. to my brand. to my core. which is to remind everyone. to experience life. and be happy.

in this context; why i want to vlog? i already mentioned this to my first vlog. i want to help people. i want to share my passion. i want to inspire people. to experience life and take risk. take it from me. i thought i can't live alone. but i can. kidding aside... i thought i can't travel alone.

i went to south korea for 9 days. alone! it was so much fun. i want to vlog to inspire people. to join them! i hope! i hope you'll let me join you guys. if you want me to join you. just let me know. just make sure you'll cover all the expenses. because i'm broke. i am more than willing to join you guys.

i hope we succeed in building this community. well, i get the point of marketing, sales - sponsors and everything. (meant) but i hope the community is our priority. we can help each avoid misleading information. hopefully i already have my own drone. and maybe i already visited all the places i want to visit. i've grown i have wider view of the world. i hope i'm more sensitive about the things that i/we should not be doing.

like the elephants in thailand. whale sharks in oslob. you guys have to do your research when you travel. we can enjoy without compromising anything. the nature. let's not be selfish. we're enjoying but we're destroying something. i hope we avoid that! to be honest, i'm not sure if i'll get paid.

a lot of people... my friends asked me. "what can you get in return? you're wasting your time... ...you're putting to much effort in all of your videos. (we can tell it is high quality) they say... ...but then you're not getting paid?" guys, as i grow up, i realized we need money. sure! but then, there's a part of me that's not okay with the idea of "money controls everything."

yes! we need money to travel. but how come, our lives depends on how much money we have? why is it, money is our key motivation to do something. i don't want to be hypocrite. sure i need money! but for me, money is secondary. experience, being part of something, help one another, build a community. it is enough salary for me. i realized that as i go along. sure i started this vlog because i heard you can earn money from it.

nothing happened. i'm trying to change my ways. with all honesty, i'm all after the community. besides, i'm not just posting for the sake of posting. i'm not traveling, just so i can post something. i'm doing it for fun. out of that great experience, i get to share it with others. "happiness is..." what's that quote? it's at the tip of my tongue i'll just google it.

happiness.... there! contagious. "happiness is contagious!" vlogs i watched. when i read random comments on videos. comments on my videos. it keeps me motivated because it is really an effective way of helping one another. and it really makes me happy, helping people. like on my comments. they are glad i made the video.

it is more than enough for me. to keep motivated. to do my craft. to share things. so thank you guys. thank you! i am a team player. i love working with people because i'm an extrovert. i hope you try to get to know someone when you travel. try to mingle with other people. but, keep safe okay?!

because for me, traveling is all about meeting new friends. even not locals. getting to know them, you'll learn something. you'll grow more. for example, by the time i went to south korea. i met germans, i met malaysians. and their different reasons why they travel... i get to share that with me. amazing feeling. also, that is one way of going out of your comfort zone.

you have to know other people. you have to know them. to understand things. to have a wide understanding about the things happening in this world. a good team player is someone who take risks. someone who doesn't just ask "what if" but actually live his what ifs. that would be all. i hope you see my channel's difference, with the millions of vloggers around the world. i'm not saying that i'm the only one doing this kind of brand.

but what i'm saying is: that's what you should expect on my channel. i'll try my very, very best to live with that brand. to stay with that brand. so yeah, thanks all for watching. i hope we get bigger as a rafroads community. here in youtube as well. and i hope you comment and suggest things you want me to do. maybe we can share things. let's talk! let's talk in the comment section down below.

please don't forget to subscribe! to keep updated with all my tips. also, please spread the news that we're building a community here on youtube. so thank you. thank you, thank you for watching. and snapback out.
